As the principal, Gautam draws on a lifetime of business experience. He started working in his family business as early as 15 years old in India. Upon migrating to Australia in 1992, he worked as a trainee in Pizza Hut until he was promoted to area manager. He started franchising stores in 1998, building everything up from scratch to 11 total stores. Gautam ran four franchises of Gloria Jean’s at the same time to operate a total of 15 stores.

Gautam started selling his franchise stores in 2003 and 2004 through which he identified a gap in the market for a clean, ethical brokerage that provides personalised services to vendors. It was then that he started operating a business brokerage under LJ Hooker Business Brokerage in 2008 until December 2021. Gautam and his team now operate as BizWorld Business Brokers armed with all the knowledge and experience he gained over more than 25 years of business experience.
